We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Jo Anne McGonigal as Community Lives Matter new Project Manager and Developer. Jo brings with her considerable experience in the charitable and commercial sectors and is passionate about seeing good things happen for people and communities. We anticipate her bringing a valuable contribution to our existing work as well as helping develop projects that can make a significant difference for vulnerable people in our community. No doubt many of you will meet her over the coming weeks, but in the meantime, here she is in her own words:
”Hi, my name is Jo Anne McGonigal and I am delighted to be joining CLM as the new Project Manager and Developer.
I am a mum of two children, living in nearby Maghull. I studied Applied Social Science with Community & Race Relations at Edge Hill, when it was just a college of Higher Education, showing my age!
My background has been largely charity based, initially working as a Funding Development Officer for COMPASS, a counselling charity in Liverpool, and then at Blackburne House, a Women’s Education Centre.
My greatest achievement is by far, my two lovely children, who amaze me every day. One of my favourite ways to spend my free time, is walking with them, visiting places of natural beauty. I love art and music, but most of all spending time with my family and friends.
I am excited to be getting back to my voluntary sector roots, and am looking forward to working with you all, and embarking on this new challenge.”
