Hosted by Carol and Rob and a great team of volunteers, our dementia cafe provides a relaxed and friendly environment where people with dementia, family members and carers can make new friends and relax with people who understand their particular circumstances.

Conversation, biscuits and a cuppa, quizzes and other activities make for a great and enjoyable time. There is also the chance to share perspectives and learn from other people’s experience, and receive advice or resources and other sources of support for people with dementia.

The dementia cafe is held in the main hall at the Community Lives Matter centre at CLM church, Cottage Lane, Ormskirk. It runs from 1-3pm, generally on the last Friday of the month (see below for calendar of dates).
